“expected better”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2014

Found this place by chance after pulling off the M6 to eat on the way to Cumbria.
The setting looked perfect the interior was very nice and welk presented.
Sadly the food was disappointing. It was nothing better than you would have had from a Harvester or Beefeater.
So in summary its ok but it could be excellent.

“Best value for money for money breakfast or brunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2014

If you don't have time to linger or read the morning paper during the week, Saturday morning is the time to do it at the Glasshouse in Sandbach. They serve best value for money breakfast in the area and even the small cups of coffee are large enough to almost have a swim in. The young staff they employ are all very pleasant & polite and most Saturdays by 11.00 am you will be lucky to find a free table. So if you are looking forward to a full English breakfast fan, sausage bap or just coffee & a slice of cake, head over to the Glasshouse relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Zx

“Two visits, one for drinks and one for breakfast!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2014

We went to the bar for a few drinks on a Friday night and it was busy with a bustling and noisy atmosphere. I have to say, I didnt really warm to it. Its not cosy in any way, and was abit pretentious. Too trendy for me with its selection of lagers and ciders on tap, with no cask beers.
We left after our drink and moved on to other bars in the town.
The following morning, whilst nursing a small hangover, we went back for something to eat. We both ate meals from the all day breakfast menu, and we both really enjoyed our meals. They were good sizes and did the job perfectly. Service was also really good and friendly.
I would definately return to eat there again, but I would miss it out if I just wanted a few drinks out.
