“Sunday Lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

Took some friends for a special Sunday lunch at the end of August. The staff are well trained and took care of us very professionally. The food was excellent (except for slightly tough beef), well presented and with ample choice to suit all tastes of our group. It was good to have the coffee included in the lunch menu and our choice of wines were reasonably priced and of good quality. Altogether to be recommended.

“Great Meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 30, 2013

Visited Bacchus on a Thursday evening, two years after promising to get there.
Wonderful reception, some familiar faces from the old Moss Nook.
Special mid-week menu - unbelievable value. Superb presentation, quality in taste and textures.
Locally sourced ingredients.
Pleasant and relaxing surroundings.
Hard to believe - restaurant full - potential customers turned away. What a recommendation.
Compliments to all.

“Lovely food and first rate service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013

We had a midweek meal out with friends, on the set menu at £18 per head. For the price, the food was fantastic; smooth and subtle flavours and excellent presentation. The choice of wines to complement the food was equally great and the sommelier helped us pick 2 great bottles to complement our fish dishes. The service was attentive but unobtrusive and the decor tasteful and upmarket, a great addition to the prestbury restaurant scene!

“Delicious lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2013

First impressions on this first visit to this fine restaurant and champagne bar were positive. The bar and dining areas were light and modern and the decor well balanced. The table-de-hote lunch menu featured choices of three starters and main courses with sweets an extra £2. The food is sourced in the north-west with the suppliers being listed in the menu. The portions were not gargantuan but adequate for a very well balanced lunch. The food was cooked to perfection, service was efficient and friendly. The wine list was comprehensive and the charges per bottle were very reasonable.
I noted that music evenings were a regular feature. It was also very relaxing to have a conversation amongst ourselves without having to compete with recorded music - background silence - lovely.

“Excellent........”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2013

I knew I would enjoy Bacchus as soon as I walked in. I recognised the Maitre'D, one of the waitress's and the head Chef from the old Moss Nook. The food is of excellent quality along the Moss Nook lines but with a far more up to date twist. The atmosphere is very comfortable and relaxed. I expected to be well looked after and we were, but so were all the other clients. This is a quality restaurant offering great food in a popular part of Cheshire....... Definitely worth a visit.
