“Lovely little courtyard cafe”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2013

We stopped here for brunch and did not expect what we found (given it was at the end of what looked like a small alley) which was a lovely courtyard cafe that became tardis like when we entered, with three different areas to sit in on top of the outside courtyard area. The atmosphere was relaxed and child friendly. The staff were great, willing to change menu items to suit, not pushy and very friendly.

My son had a milkshake topped with whipped cream - his face was an absolute picture when it turned up! He declared it was the biggest, creamest milkshake he had ever had... The toasted baguette was OK as was the toasted teacake, served with plenty of butter. However the freshly cooked chocolate crepes served with a small bowl of whipped cream and a large fresh strawberry were an absolute delight.

We will be going back for lunch at some point to try the unusual paninis on offer and a cake or two!

“Nice surprise”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2013 via mobile

We have passed the entrance to this cafe many times when exiting the town centre. We have not until today paid a visit. We were pleasantly surprised at what lay at the end of the long courtyard. There is a choice of seating, in or out depending on the weather with ample room to sit and relax. We chose a chicken sandwich which was made fresh, accompanied by a coffee. We enjoyed our first visit and will definitely call again.

“wonderful little courtyard setting”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2013

stopped here for coffee on market day. The coffee was average, but the choc au pan was delicious. Service rather slow and they made a mistake with the bill (in our favour, but we told them and had it corrected.

“Cake comes from Morrisons”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2013

Coffe is quite nice but the cake definitely comes straight from the Morrisons next door. Interior is tired. This place could be so much more.

“Friendly welcome and beautiful food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2013 via mobile

Quite simply the nicest cafe in Nantwich (and there are a few to beat)!
Lovely food, drink and welcome.
Pretty French artwork and plenty of room to sit outside in a quaint courtyard - lots of character. Bigger than you might think inside too, lots of seating/tables and some sofa chairs (high chairs also).
Staff are excellent, very attentive and friendly.

A 'must-see' in Nantwich!
