We stopped here for brunch and did not expect what we found (given it was at the end of what looked like a small alley) which was a lovely courtyard cafe that became tardis like when we entered, with three different areas to sit in on top of the outside courtyard area. The atmosphere was relaxed and child friendly. The staff were great, willing to change menu items to suit, not pushy and very friendly.
My son had a milkshake topped with whipped cream - his face was an absolute picture when it turned up! He declared it was the biggest, creamest milkshake he had ever had... The toasted baguette was OK as was the toasted teacake, served with plenty of butter. However the freshly cooked chocolate crepes served with a small bowl of whipped cream and a large fresh strawberry were an absolute delight.
We will be going back for lunch at some point to try the unusual paninis on offer and a cake or two!
