“Great Atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2013

Great little restaurant on the site of the old No 15 Wine Bar in Alderley Edge. Staff were really friendly and the decor quirky and different. Food choices were a little limited, but what we had was delicious. Will definitely be back.

“Not good for food!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2013

Very busy place for drinks, the food is not good at all, with very limited menu, instead of spending money on those silly little garden fences and daft watering cans, spend it on adding real food.
Prawn cocktail in Alderley Edge!!! Where are the fish dishes? Good old fashioned food instead of trying to be hip hop n happening!!
Very young staff, yet again, with no experience in dealing with the general public, how nice would it be to have mature experienced staff that you can have a decent conversation with, instead of 17 year old kids, that are clueless.
Beautiful interior. Certainly would not recommend eating there!! To expensive with little portions of food.
Having to smell the smokers puffing away is not good in the outdoor seating.
Atmosphere is good for cocktails but thats all

“Trendy and Friendly Winebar /Restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 24, 2012

Newish stylish Bar/restaurant(openedSept 2012) in village centre.Very busy and lively(and on our night;pre christmas,a bit noisy(there was a slightly overamped singer)The decor, although attractive-agriculural/rural niknaks and bare board did not absorb much of the noise. There is no compulsion to eat,but most there did,and (considering it's location)the prices were not bad.the quality was excellent, from basics such as posh Sausage and mash to good steaks etc.Wine prices also OK and good quality.
All four of us enjoyed our time there and were especially impressed be the chirpy and efficient staff, who seemed to know the menu and were prepared to spend time with customers although the place was very busy.Very Good.

“Could be better”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 14, 2012

The interior is different in a good way on the garden theme but taken too far to the plate naff hanging kebabs, the hooks were not clean and clogged with old drizzled butter, trinkety relish in tin wheelbarrows and pate on pretend soil, bread in a dirty picnic basket lead to an overfull table with no room to move. The chicken in the salad was obviously shredded and taken from a container straight from the fridge as cold and tasteless. Food disappointing.

The smokers do a rat run to the back garden out door area so all non smokers are subject to condensed smoke if they venture out and seating at the back receives a constant draft as the smokers to and fro in and out constantly opening the door and not always closing.
