Description: Located in the London Road in Alderley Edge, The Bubble Room is a sophisticated and bijou venue serving divine modern British fare. The restaurant has a retro Victorian-chic interior, and is decorated with chandeliers, lamps, fresh flowers, dark designer wallpaper and marble-topped counters. Even the ceiling is a conversation piece - covered in 5,000 lightbulbs, it wouldn't look out of place in an art gallery. Perfect for romantic meals and intimate dinner parties, The Bubble Room is discreet and oozes old-school understated luxury with a contemporary twist. We love the menu here – expect fresh local food including Glossop lamb, Alderley chicken, and salmon and trout from the local Cheshire Smokehouse.

“Nice place, nice food, good atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2013

We went last night, Monday 16th September, it was wet and miserable out, but there were still a good number of people in the restaurant/bar.
It was steak night - that wasn't the reason we chose the place though - so £15.95 for a salad starter, a rump steak and two drinks, pint of Lowenbrau and a large Shiraz and then £13.95 for my wife's grilled cod, fries, asparagus and grilled tomatoes was very reasonable indeed. Steak was perfectly cooked and tasty, as was the fish, all served promptly.
It was our wedding anniversary but I wouldn't say it was the most romantic place to go. No complaints though. In Alderley Edge you could spend three times as much and fare no better!

“Great bar, now even better since the extention”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2013

I have frequented to the bubble room on many occasions. It is always busy with a great atmosphere. Service is swift and they tend to put enough staff on. Prices are in line with the area and there is a wide selection. The cocktails are great and made the proper way.

Personally i have still never eaten here but many friends of mine have and say it is good and consistent.

Worth a visit for a good time and some entertainign people watching!!haha

“Breakfast/Brunch”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2013

Stopped here for breakfast/brunch recently. It was my birthday so decided to have the full english with scrambled eggs.
Very reasonably priced and the quality of the ingredients was great and surprised to get two sausages which were delicious.
My only niggle is that the plates were stone cold and a cooked breakfast doesn't take long to go cold either meaning that after a couple of mouthfuls i was just ploughing my way through a plate of cold food. We took relatives so I didn't want to complain at the time and as we were the only ones in there when we placed our order, they were hardly rushed off their feet. I used to own a B&B (with a Breakfast Award) and it's not rocket science to prepare and serve a piping hot dish going straight out.
Staff were polite and the coffee was good.
I would rather eat outside next time and have a hot plate and that would be perfect. Eating inside during daylight hours is a little bit depressing due to the interior 'decor'. It's obviously very trendy to have the 'building site' look and it probably works very well in the evening with good lighting but a little draining during the day.

“Good fun place, quality food and nice atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2013

We go for a girls catch up here, the food is consistently good and it ha a buzzy atmosphere in the evening and relaxed in the day.

The thai salad is fabby, particularly when finished off with their 'Eton Mess'! Also prawns pil pil is a big hit.
The prices are fair and the venue has recently been refurbed giving it an industrial loft feel. Great place to go and meet friends.
