“Excellent value bed&breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2013

Stayed here three nights recently at £55.00 for a double room. The room was a good size and had recently been refurbished. The en-suite was new, with a very large bath and shower. Near to the town centre - 5 minutes walking distance.
Cooked breakfast was excellent and served very quickly.
Staff were friendly and helpful.

Stayed three nights. Very clean Grade 2 listed building with a lot of wisbech history, nice photos of the town in grander days. Bedroom simple with small but adequate shower ensuite coffee and daily clean for £30 with full english breakfast cereals etc, excellent value. Very friendly owners and centrally located. Secure car park and fishshop next door and good curry house round the corner. Whole place runs like clockwork and what a refreshing change from the generic travelodge scene. In truth have enjoyed staying here much more than many international four stars simply because of its charm, quirky character and welcome.

stopped here recently and the accommodation was very good for the price - only £30 for a single room! - secure carparking and friendly staff. Easy to find just off the big roundabout in the centre of town. Town also has some interesting bars and an excellent curry house very close to hotel :)

Only downside is you need to telephone to book a room - no on-line reservations

Just a one night stay. A very comfortable good sized room with ensuite to match. Hotel conveniently placed for town centre. Breakfast was excellent - plenty of choice and served promptly. Car park adequate - could be a bit tight if full. A homely sort of hotel, clean and well ordered and would have no hesitation in recommending it to others at a reasonable price..

Room Tip: We had a first floor room overlooking the car park. Very quiet.

Just spent one night here and was extremely happy with the quality of the hotel. Just a real shame that I had a breakfast meeting so did not eat in house as it looked very welcoming and homely. I will certainly stay here again and recommend to others as you can not get better value than this.

3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2012

First impressions were that this place would be 'OK'. I was allocated a room on the 2nd floor of the annexe, at the front above the main road, despite being promised a quiet room at the back. After struggling up the narrow stairs with 3 bags, I couldn't be bothered to go down again and ask to move.

The room was fine (I had a family room with a double and single bed) if a little basic. It had a decent sized bathroom. Unfortunately the picture and sound kept breaking up on the TV, so it was a good job that I was going out for the evening. Actually the traffic noise didn't bother me much (although it might have if it had been warm and the window was open).

Breakfast was excellent and very hot. All this for only £35 B&B.
