“Peace and Quite”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2014

If you want a quite place in the middle of nowhere, this is the place. The hosts are very accommodating. Room perfect and spotless. I love my breakfast but I struggled to finish it.
Can be a little hard to find but worth it

Howard & Kate ( & Fitz the Dalmatian) were so helpful and welcoming. The room was excellent as was the breakfast each day, which we could have at a time that suited us. Clean, tidy & well maintained. The only downside for us was the position. Otherwise, we couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Everything about our stay here was excellent from the room, to the food, to our hosts.
All our needs were more than accommodated for;from detailed instructions how to get there, to where to visit , to dietary requirements.
A thoroughly enjoyable weekend made perfect by Kate and Howard's hospitality.

Stayed 4 nights in July with our 14 year old son. Had a magnificent quiet room with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. Howard's "Bodgers Special" in the morning is a huge magnificent full English breakfast included in the package -even our hungry teenage son couldn't finish it! A side trip to Cambridge was a great experience thanks to Howard and Kate in assisting with transport, bookings and advice. This stay was a highlight of our two weeks in England. Howard and Kate are impeccable hosts, and made us feel right at home. They are only too happy to help with advice about local pubs, directions and transport. The B&B accommodation and location are wonderful, and the breakfast glorious. Highly recommended.

First time at Bodgers Farm B&B, what a great place to stay.
Kate and Howard make you feel very welcome. The location is ideal as it is in a quiet area away from town centre noise and no passing traffic. Nothing was to much trouble. As I only have a light breakfast the choice was excellent, especially Howards home made bread!
Will definately return next time in the area. I have stayed at many B&Bs over the years, this one rates as one of the best. Excellent value for money and nice people.

Visited Kate and Howard's BB over the Easter weekend and had a great time. They are very warm and welcoming people and the breakfast was excellent. I was on a fishing trip and took my dog with me who had great fun playing with their puppy. Coming from London, it was nice to wake up to birds singing as opposed to ambulance sirens! A great get away.

My wife and I had a lovely stay at Bodgers Farm Pottery. Kate and Howard were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast really set us up for day.
