“Just don't bother”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2013

Read the reviews, heard about it from people in town, saw it on the High a street... Coffee bitter and overpriced. Staff look at though they need a good bath. Food on show surely contravenes all health and safety regulations. There are plenty of other places in town to have a decent lovely coffee - this place is not one of them.

“... And now for something completely different ...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2013 via mobile

This individual little coffee house is a true gem ! Such a delight to have something like this in Buckingham. Thank goodness it's not a Costa - in our town. Quirky interior - just wish it was bigger ! Really hope this business can make it in these challenging times. I'm not big on strong coffee, but I've had a few vanilla lattes at Gyre and Gimble and thought I'd gone to heaven ! Cinnamon buns, croissants and delicious sandwiches are also available. This place is not cheap - but the treat is worth every penny. Staff are very knowledgable and friendly. They seem passionate about their work. G and G - worth a visit, if you want to experience something a bit different.

“Proper coffee”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2013 via mobile

This is a classy coffee house as good as the specialist coffee shops in London. It will not taste like your standard Starbucks - which is a good thing - very good. Could do with more food options.

“Not too sure”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 12, 2013

Ordered 2 lattes, large is average size and not by any means large. Coffee had a funny taste, I couldn't finish it. Wouldn't go back.

“Great coffee!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2013

A new addition to Buckingham's growing cafe culture, and this is a must for anyone who likes good coffee. Not the cheapest in town, but great coffee served with passion by knowledgeable staff. Great range of gifts for the coffee connoisseur. Limited seating the only drawback. If only there was wifi... but then again, this is not Starbucks or Costa!
