“lovely hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 24, 2010

Great hotel. Same as any other Premier Inn. Beds and pillows very comfy. Clean and tidy rooms. Very friendly staff. Opposite a 24 hour tesco. On a direct bus route to Luton station. Perfect for what we needed. Adjoining pub served nice food. A little bit of road noise, but the hotel is situated next to a busy road so it is expected.

recently stayed in premier inn with 4 other family members,on our first day we all except one (who was sick with tonsilitis) ate 2 meals in the beefeater restaurant, by 10pm that night the 4 of us had non-stop vomiting & diahroea, except the 1 who had the sore throat & couldnt eat the food! Very dissapointing as we had a 13yr old with us for her birthday & she was worst affected, ended up dehydrated & had to see doctor etc etc. it ruined our trip. we brought it to the attention of staff, however all they did was write a report. they failed to accept responsibilty for it. very poor customer service indeed. also very long delays at bar when wanting to order drinks. overall very sloppy staff who are not committed to doing their best & appear unsuitable for that type of work

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and it exceeded out expectations by a mile. The staff were incredibly attentive and couldn't do enough to help us. The room was clean and a reasonable size and for the price we paid (£53 a night) we couldn't have asked for more.

The Halfway House which is the adjoining pub where breakfast is served was also great. We ate both our evening meals there as well as breakfast as the food was so good.

Would stay again without question.

  • Liked — We got far more than we paid for
  • Disliked — If I had to pick the shower could have been more powerful
