“Beautiful and quiet with lovely jungle garden views”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2014

Very affordable rates for a large room with a king-size bed. Very clean and comfortable. Just a few blocks away from the main plaza if you don't want to be right downtown - which is really very quiet in this beautiful small city! Staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast is either buffet or a la carte - just make sure you avoid the early buffet if there are bus tours staying at the hotel! Quite the rush to get food! Love the super-size carved statues of Pancho Villa & Don Quixote in the restaurant and poolside bar! Definitely worth your stay if you want affordability and comfort!

We started a bus tour from here. Rooms were good size and clean. Excellent breakfast. Location was just right for Mayan ruins. Staff were as usual very polite and carried out their work with very pleasant nature.

Room Tip: All seemed good to us.

Nice cozy hotel, clean and beautiful rooms, grate value, in a good location in town. Valladolid is a friendly, town with a few attractions of its own and historical significance when the state was one of the wealthiest in Mexico. It is a strategic stop/ visit if you plan to visit the best Mayan ruins at a distance of only 30 Km the magnificent ruins of Chichen Itza, and about the same distance to the most impressive "Cenote" (or natural sink hole) in the entire peninsula of Yucatan. It is also only a 2 hour drive from the capital of Yucatan, Merida, an old friendly city full of colonial history.

Very clean, well situated (we had a car) but was close enough by taxi for a few pesos. The staff very helpful and polite, many french tourits (bus loads).Loved the big room, the balcony with the table and the rocking chair. Little problems: the toilet that didn't work in the morning but they gave us immediatly another room, their restaurant needs real help! Would go back.

++ very good value for money (at least if you get a cheapie on the internet)
+ good service, very clean
+ equipment in the room, hotel amenities (pool, tennis court, computers etc.)
+ quiet rooms
= breakfast could be better, especially the coffee
= a little far from the city center (20 minutes walking)

Give the cenote Zaci (2 blocks east of the city center) a visit, it's basically free (1,3 US-$) and a really nice refreshment.

Room Tip: you can't really make a mistake

Very pretty hotel with large, clean, stylish rooms. The hotel is a little out from the center of town, but has an elegant style with very helpful, polite staff.
There is a restaurant in the hotel and we ate four meals there during our stay. The waiter (?owner) at the restaurant was very friendly and helpful with translating the menu (he had an English version). It was nice to be able to order and eat from the outside seating area by the pool. Food was very good and the prices were very reasonable.
Enclosed parking attached to the hotel was helpful.
The architectural style of the hotel was Spanish and pretty. Beds were a little firm, but acceptable.
The room air conditioner got noisy at night, but I believe that this was due to condensation freezing in the unit as it disappeared after shutting off the unit for a while and then restarting it.
All in all, it was a pleasant place to stay. The town is small enough that driving to the central square was made possible by the ease of parking. We found that the hotel was further from the central square than we wished to walk due to the heat and humidity outdoors.

This is a thoroughly pleasant place to rest and revive. Not exactly in walking distance as they claim. Taxi is only a few dollars so no matter. It is walkable, 10-15 minutes on narrow walkways. Breakfast was good. Room was spacious and service fine.
