I know nothing about art, and to be honest, am not really too interested in it, but I thought this would be a nice mini-adventure in Valladolid. It was. My girlfriend and I took the tour at 10am on a Monday, and the guide, Freddy, was extremely knowledgeable about the TONS of folk art in this house. I was more interested in just touring a nice hacienda, but still learned a bit during the tour. The owner of the house chatted with us for a bit; friendly guy. We had a small group, and it lasted for about 90 minutes, so we were ready to leave when it was over. I'd recommend this tour to anyone who loves art or has some knowledge of Mexican art. The 60 peso per person "donation" goes to charity. The house itself is pretty; unassuming from the outside like most of the buildings in Valladolid.
