“Didn't want to leave!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2013

We visiting Nohoch Kay on a recent port stop on our cruise Oct. 17, 2013. It was a short cab ride from the port which was fantastic as we only had a short amount of time to spend there! Jaime and his staff - Junior, Lois & Betty Boo (and the bartender can't remember his name) were amazing!!! We began the day there as strangers and ended as friends!! It was a beautiful, relaxing day! The food was amazing - we tried lots of things on the menu and everything was delicious!!! I hope to visit there again!! You will not be disappointed!! Thank you for the memories and a FANTASTIC day!!!

“Fresh seafood...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2013

has become the daily joy of our stay in Mahahual. We have eaten lobster, fish filet, --shrimps, grilled veggies, all were well prepared and presented. Although Jaime's place, "Big Fish," is down to earth--palapa, sand, and plastic chairs-- the restaurant is located at the Malecon, right at the beach, and always full of interesting people.

“Great Time.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2013

A group of six of us went when the Disney Fantasy was in port. Take the short walk out of the cruise terminal to the cab stand. $2.00 each and you are at Nohoch Kay. You are welcomed on arrival and given cold drinks and food. Pull a lounge chair into the water and enjoy the day. "Doc Holiday" and "Betty Boop" make you feel like an old friend. The food was very good and the crowds were very light on the day we were there.

“Best excursion ever!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013 via mobile

Jaime, Nick and staff were great hosts. Booked their Hobie Cat snorkeling excursion several weeks prior to sailing on the Carnival Dream in September 2013. This excursion is not sponsored by the cruise lines and they will politely try to steer you toward their offerings but this is one instance when you must not let them. Nohoch Kay is a short inexpensive taxi ride from the cruise pier. This experience was top notch from beginning to end. Nick is a great snorkeling partner, there were only 4 of us on the Hobie Cat so he was able to provide personalized service. My wife and I were traveling with another couple and we all sampled several of their food and drink menu items, hands down the best food and drinks of the entire cruise! Do NOT miss this opportunity when in Costa Maya.
