“Quiet seclusion yet close to everything”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014 via mobile

Such a comfortable space, clean and modern with a nice bed, solid building, safe, excellent helpful staff. LOVED our stay!
When we return to Mahahual this will be our first choice to stay. Rooms are immaculate, have ac, free wifi, and ATM on site that works more often than rest in town (3 others) don't count on it, bring cash.

Mahahual was a big disappointment and we only stayed one night. El Hotelito, howeve, is a sweet little place, the rooms on the top floor have a nice view of the town and all the horrible cruise ship tourists that invade this place every morning.

The staff at Hotelito are sweet, the rooms have Sky TV and guests have access to the beach facilities of a large hotel down the road.

Nice stay and good value for money.

Don't miss the wall of iguanas beside the parking area. Staff is delightful. 2nd tier location with great views. Lots of steps! No towel rack, shower sprays out into the bathroom, shower was hot but vascillated from soft to hard constantly, no bedside reading light. Small complaints given the overall experience. We have stayed here before and wouldn't hesitate to stay again. As far as I know, the onsite ATM machine never works. Money is hard to get in Mahahual.

Room Tip: If you have trouble with lots of steps, stay elsewhere.

Nice little hotel, next to the beach. The rooms were very clean, the staff helpful and welcoming. Breakfast is included in the price!

We got a room for 3 persons at 600 and 700 pesos.

From the hotel, you are 5 minutes away from beach bars and restaurants.

A very nice place to stay in Mahahual.

We came here to stay a night and ended up staying two nights, because it was so lovely. It's a simple little hotel but clean, modern and relaxed. Matteo the owner (?) couldn't be more helpful, giving us directions to best places in and out of the town. You're close to the beach and can use the facilities of a couple of beach clubs too. Great place! If I ever come back to Mahahual, I'd be sure to stay here again!

Clean, air conditioned, right on the beach and very close to great restaurants. You can go snorkeling right across the street.
The staff is very helpful, breakfast is provided too as well as wifi available in your room.

This is our 2nd trip to Mahahual, and we decided to try one of the smaller hotels. El Hotelito is a beautiful little boutique hotel, just steps off the beach. The beds are comfy, the room is clean & tastefully decorated, they have A/C, a fan, satellite TV, there are huge windows & a small balcony with a view of the sea... What more can you ask for?? We arrived late in the evening (as we drove from Cancun), and we were greeted warmly by Ivan when we arrived. In the morning, there is coffee, tea, juice & toast in the hotel lobby, which was just enough to get my kids started for the day. A charming little place, such a nice break from the hustle of Cancun & Playa del Carmen! We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Mahahual!
