The most valuable part for me was actually communications with the entertainment team: amazing people - learned a lot from them.
The second biggest value: sport activities (of cause it is my own opinion).
This resort should have a word "Sport" in its name as it offers such a vast variety of individual, team and group sport activities - so you can be busy from 8 to 5. Just to name a few: tennis, archery, air-rifle shooting, biking, yoga, pool and beach volleyball. Resort has its own tennis pro Omar and two tennis courts. Tennis is twice a day: at 8 am and 4 pm. Omar also runs archery (10-30am), air-rifle shooting (13-30), bike rides twice a day and soccer. You don't need to have your sport equipment - resort has it, but it does not hurt to bring your stuff and pair of runners for sure. Don't forget to drink plenty of water use sun screen and cover your head all the time - you get 2L bottle of water in your minibar along with other free soft drinks. While Omar is in charge of the Sport Center near the reception building, Leslie runs the Yoga and Power Pump sessions at 9 am, there is also a Power Walk session run by another lady. It's a crime to miss even one Yoga session.
Do not hesitate to tip sport staff if you enjoy their service.
If you are into swimming to get rid of those extra calories gained from all-inclusive buffets: there is a relaxing pool which is big enough for you to swim around for half-an-hour. All the water team games are going in the pools #1 and #3 thus you will not be disturbed. Speaking of pool team games: if you see people playing - ask and join them - the more people the better!
All the sport staff is part of the entertainment team called "Animation Super!" and they also run evening shows at the theater. They all speak English fluently and demonstrate incredible physical shape, dancing skills, very friendly and service oriented.
All kind of ocean activities right onsite including professional scuba divers who can train you from scratch.
The resort has a lot of land which is continuously taken care of by gardening staff: beautiful and mature gardens - you don't need to go anywhere out of the resort to get into the jungle.
Plenty of animals (raccoon, lizards, foxes, you name it), birds and huge butterflies. A lot of opportunities to take pictures.
Do not afraid of any animals there, do not touch them either. Many iguanas hanging here and there - they are lazy and eat vegetation only, thus not to worry - they will not bite you. Watch out for insects - big bugs or spiders - there are quite a few spots of intense vegetation - do not randomly go through it.
Rooms: as for me (and I've been to, very nice rooms with individual climate controls, TV, shower, Jacuzzi: very spacey.. you can hang out on the balcony as well. I was getting back to the room a couple times a day to cool down. The resort has a fancy energy saving system - lights in the room are on only when you put your room card into the special slot on the wall - when you go out - you take your card with you - so all the lights turn off automatically. I had a king bed some rooms have two queens. There are three shallow pillows - you can pile them up or bring the pillow you like as I did. Mattress was good.
Everything is very well maintained and clean. At the ground floor of the every second building there is a concierge who will address all your questions. A piece of advice: floor is VERY slippery when wet: never go out of the room barefoot when it's raining. Bring a few pair of shoes with rubber sole including runners as I mentioned earlier. There are electro-shuttles running through the building to the reception and other places quite often - don't hesitate to hop on, especially when it's wet to save yourself a trouble, also good for senior people. Buildings have elevators - they are a bit tricky to find as well as stairs, but they are there.
Big beach, spectacular ocean view, very nice sand. Be careful when getting into the water - there are some rocks underwater. the ocean (or Caribbean Sea) was very warm - good for relaxation.
Food: first of all - never had even a glimpse of a food poisoning. Wide selection of food for meat lovers, vegetarians, healthy eaters, deserts etc. Staff at the restaurants came to me in next 5 seconds after I sat at the table every single time.
All the big meals like Breakfast (7am-10am), Lunch (12pm-3pm) and Dinner (6-30..) are happening at the second floor of the reception which has two entrances.
The ground floor of the Reception hosts several shops, travel agents, Internet center and a couple bars: Tequila and Mezcal. As Tequila bar has Mezcal, I assume the content of both bars are similar. Barmen Samuel provides a great service. My apologies for drinking out all the Tequila Jose Cuervo.. I left some Mezcal though, not because it was bad, I was trying to be polite and saved some for newcomers.
Between the big meals you can snack at two locations by the pools #1 and #3. Next to the pool #3 there is a coffee shop - where you can have different kinds of coffee and cool down.
Apparently it's a smoking resort - I am not a smoker but it did not bother me much: big spaces and smoke goes away quit fast .. I thought it's worth to mention that anyway.
Guests: 99% pairs. Mostly from Canada - may be 50%, People from the UK - aprox 20% and the US and Russia 10% each.
Never saw any problems like noisy or drunk people. For kids there is a special place with I believe a dedicated member of the entertainment team and lazy river (which was popular for adults too).
Another small advice: confirm times of all the activities and time for the restaurants with staff as stands or papers you got are slightly outdated.
Who loves ruins and excursions - talk to your travel rep. at the ground floor at the reception: everything is pretty close to this resort.
