Beautiful course, difficult , but fair.
Very well kept. Greens are excellent.
Booking a tee time can be difficult, communication between Hotel and the course is not smooth and sometimes confusing. If you are at the course one day and going to play the next day, go back to the pro shop to book, to avoid confusion.
Most golfers who play there, are playing the incorrect tee boxes, which leads to lots of lost balls and long rounds, thus holding up fellow golfers. After you play your first round there, then decide if the blue tee box is your proper choice. Play the White tees first so you know where to hit and not to hit.
Staff is very nice, cart refreshment is on the course and very courteous.
There is lots of water holes and very pretty landscape, (cenotes), rock out crops, a beautiful par 3 200-230 yards over water.
You will not be disappointed, unless you did not bring enough balls.
I am looking forward to returning in the next few months.
Carts are mandatory, $65-$80/ person (depending on time of season) but the golf is free. Caddies are available but nobody uses them.
They have Callaway clubs, Odessey putter for rent for $35.
Do yourself a favour and play!
