My wife and I stopped in at Imeldas for lunch while visiting Akumal. Had been there before over the years. Had some of the chicken fajitas, they came straight from the stove, so good and hot, everything was fresh, and the hot sauce to put on them was good and spicy. One of the best local meals we had when we visited week of 9/17-9/24. The price can't be beat, and with the trees around, you can enjoy your meal in the shade. Remember too, that if you speak English, and need some info about Akumal or Tulum, Imeldas is the place to visit. Shes from Belize and speaks English along with the girls that work in her restaurant.
