Bahia is a lunch and dinner restaurant at the Four Seasons resort that sits just above the beach with a terrific view of the Pacific. It is covered though open air and thus you will be exposed to the elements for better or worse, though mostly for the better. Beautiful sunsets from here but be sure to time it correctly as the days are late in the summer. It is the more casual of the resort restaurants.
We had several meals here and in my opinion the food ranged from solid to outstanding. The tuna 'catch of the day' at dinner was well done though not spectacular. A ceviche I had for lunch was simply the best I'd ever had. Also some creative and excellent salads based on local ingredients. Loved the grilled avocado salad. Similar feedback from the rest of our party. The restaurant has a kids menu. Decent wine list and of course Mexican cocktails.
There service at the restaurant is outstanding as it is across the entire resort. One lunch we had seated at the bar during a slow period allowed us to get to know Juan Luis and Jesus who taught us much about local food and gave us a tasting of various hot sauces from across Mexico. Two very pleasant gentleman who were a joy to converse with.
