“Always Relaxing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2012

We have visited Four Seasons Punta Mita several times, and always enjoy it. It is never crowded, and the customer service is unparalleled. The rooms are beautiful and clean. Both beaches are tranquil with excellent service. The food is pricey, but you know that going in. Our favorite time of day used to be the delivery of Hagen Daas ice cream daily at 3 p.m. They no longer do this, but do have an ice cream cart at the family pool in the afternoon. Everything else is as wonderful as always. Looking forward to our next visit.

Room Tip: They are all nice. Rooms on the Oasis may be a bit noiser as it is surrounded by the lazy river whic...

This is a lovely resort with gorgeous views and well-maintained grounds and accommodations, but as with all Four Seasons hotels and resorts, the highlight is the staff. Every staff person from the concierge to the groundskeepers was courteous, cheerful and professional. In my opinion, that makes the trip!

This is an excellent place to escape and relax. We have stayed here both with and without our children. The kids club and game room are excellent. The staff is also very friendly and kids centered. However, this is also an excellent place for a couple to get away from it all is well. The adult pool, spa and fitness facility are all a haven of serenity.

The service is excellent in every way. The staff is kind, friendly, and helpful with out being overbearing or annoying. Activities that were arranged by the staff took place exactly as promised and planned. Special touches such as flowers for my wife's birthday were beyond expectation.

The resort is an excellent place to relax and unwind. It is very much sealed off from Mexico. The resort community consists of high-end resorts and luxury homes. Some people may feel that this is not representative of "true" Mexico. Once you are at the resort it is not easy to get back to town or to a "minimart" for supplies, snacks etc. This can make meeting all the little needs of small kids more difficult (plan ahead).

A few little maintenance issues such as chipped or broken tiles in the bathroom, rust on some light fixtures, or a mildew smell on a throw pillow should be corrected.

My family and my sister's family stayed at this very relaxing resort for 8 days during March break. The property is undoubtedly very beautiful but our experience was tainted because of swarms of wasps around the pool and the VERY expensive food. I got stung twice and my daughter got stung once and there was complete chaos with kids screaming about the wasps. We were forced daily to move from the pool because of these nasty pests. Also, the lack of umbrellas around the pool make it very uncomfortable. They do have shaded areas but they are further away from the pool which makes it difficult to keep an eye on young children. With regards to the restaurants, Ketsi and Bahia had very good food but after 8 days, the selection became so mundane. The food is also very expensive (close to $50 US for 1 adult's breakfast buffet) but that's what you get from The Four Seasons.
We all went whale watching ($100 US/pp) and we were very fortunate to see many whales. It was definitely an experience. We also went to the small town of Sayulita for a morning and it was definitely a great place to pick up some Mexican handicrafts. We ate at a restaurant called Don Pedro's and the pizza was definitely a welcome change.
The rooms were clean and very nicely appointed with Mexican details. We had a one bedroom suite and the kids loved the outdoor splash pool on the balcony. The outdoor shower was also a bonus.
The service was very nice and the staff was very pleasant.

Room Tip: I don't think there is a bad room at this resort. We stayed in Oasis which is surrounded by the...

3 very different yet amazing pools, a game room for the kids, amazingly friend staff, 5 restaurants that each bring different flavors. there is a kfas or kids for all seasons where we can get rid of the kids and leave them in the care of the people who work there while they swim and do arts and crafts and play at the playground, ect. The rooms are spacey, amazing, great decor just all around incredible. The reception/concierge offer off of the property activities such as horsebackriding, atv riding, zip-lining, ect. amazing.

Room Tip: All rooms are great, not just the most expensive ones.

We stayed here for five days with my fiancee's company. I cannot say enough how amazingly helpful and kind the staff are here. It honestly feels magical. When our party at one of the larger rooms became too rowdy around 1am, they opened up the infinity pool and jacuzzi for us so as not to disturb other guests while still letting us continue our celebration. The concierge booked a horseback ride along the beach for us and an afternoon foray into a local beach town. On or off the resort, we always felt cared for and appreciated. The only drawback, if there is one, is that the resort is very separated from the surrounding areas. Taxis to and from anywhere are pricey, so plan ahead if you are looking to adventure outside of the resort itself!

the location and facility are wonderful...perched over the Pacific Ocean it's hard to beat. But the thing that really sets the Four Seasons Punta Mita apart is the staff...from the folks that greet you upon arrival to the staff at the golf course...they are unbelievable. We've traveled all over the world, enjoyed resorts of all kinds...but the FS Punta Mita has become such a favorite that we spend 3-4 weeks a year there now with our children and grandchildren. Hats off to the entire Four Seasons organization...you have really set the standard at the Four Seasons Punta Mita.
