This new restaurant which just opened in Ajijic turned out to be a real delight. We had reservations, but had to wait for a table (only ten minutes) due to a storm. This eliminated any outdoor seating. There were four of us and we each ordered different items form the menu. I had the avocado stuffed with smoked oysters as an appetizer and the mahi mahi as my main course. My wife had the spaghetti with meat sauce and our friends had the coconut shrimp and the lamb shank. Everyone pronounced their meals were very good.
This is a family owned and operated restaurant, but the owners obviously have had previous experience. There were none of the usual glitches one encounters in many new restaurant operations. Their eleven year old daughter even did an outstanding job of waiting on us as well as the other family members.
To make up for our very slightly delayed reservation, we were given a free dessert, which was also very good.
