Didnt expect much ending up here for work but seriously what a brutal place to stay for more than one or two nights...Lobby looked decent enough, climbed the old stairs that actually move if you step in the right spot then got on the top floor with wood panels and cinder block walls. Walked down the hall to my "non smoking" room that I probably could have gotten away with smoking in because you could smell 40 years of cigarettes stained into the walls. Luckily no bed bugs, pillow cases were stained with a nice yellow sweat spot in the middle and theres a gas line coming out of the floor (like you'd throw on a deck for hooking up a BBQ) my shower actually had hot water but some of my coworkers weren't as fortunate. There's also a door next to the bed leading to what I figured would be a balcony to outside. Well if you step out onto your balcony into the dark you realise there's no wind because you're actually standing over top an abandoned indoor pool room and if you're brave enough to pull out a flashlight you get a good view of an empty, moldy pool. So that being the case there's no actual windows into the room. As far as the cleaners go the only difference after they're done that I could find is that they made the bed (haven't actually put clean sheets on in the 12 days i've been here so far) they swap the pillows around, drop the chair at the desk to the shortest height and drop a nauseating amount of febreeze all over the room....and my stuff. The free wifi is about as good as dial up and the front desk staff pretty much could care less about anything even rolling their eyes when you ask for a new key to the room because 5/10 times the card scanner doesn't work. Don't bother with the bar either it's a total dive that doesn't have a kitchen (probably for the better) and their offsale charges about 17$ for a six pack of crappy beer. Across the hall from the washing machines there's a giant bubble in the wallpaper thats holding a solid gallon of water and the beer fridge in the room leaks mouldy water. I could go on... There's at least 5 or 6 other decent hotels in town spend a bit extra and go there
