“A little gem in Sutton”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2012

Fantastic little "auberge" in Sutton. Great value. We had a great time.
Contemporary style, friendly service good food. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. Location in the village is perfect, you won't find a much better location in Sutton. I would definitely stay at the hotel again.

“Nice bar - not so sure about the food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 1, 2012

The ground floor of this newly opened inn is a combined bar and restaurant. Very contemporary in style with concrete floors, white walls and lots of windows.
As a bar the nature of their license means you have to have at least a token something to eat with your drink and the crudites and dips were fresh and tasty as was the mini bouche (on our visit 3 little slices of paté with bread for $2).
We were less convinced by a lunchtime visit to eat in the restaurant. They claim to specialize in comfort food but the individual Cottage Pie was dry and rather tasteless and the seafood casserole didnt have much in the way of seafood. Service was rather amateur.
A nice place for drinks but not convincing on the food front especially with so many good alternatives nearby.
