“NOT WORTH THE PRICE”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2012

Stayed here for 1 night. The room was very nice & clean, however there wasn't an air conditioner! Temp in the room was 30 degrees Celsius(86 F)!There was only 2 windows that
opened, a small window above the bed and one in the door but you had to keep the blinds open to get even a whisper of a breeze. With the windows open the room only went down to 27 C (80 F)oh but they did have a regular table fan that you could move the hot air around with! TV was lousy, only 3 channels of english and they were news and sports (uggh) Sign out front says breakfast but it's not complimentary! $3.25 for a glass of orange juice! Really? No WiFi..but the lady at the front desk says there is a spot for hard wired..who carries a Cat 5 wire with them??!!They didn't even have any to loan...Paid $130 to stay here...I have had better amenities at a Motel 6 for $50...The bed was very comfortable even though we were sweating to death :)

The motel room had a lovely window looking out onto the grounds. There was a short walk to the sea shore, which was empty and quiet. In the yard are old gliders to sit on, which were very cool. The room was clean and well looked after. I enjoyed my stay there.

We checked into Cabin 341 for 6 nights and at first glance it appeared bright & clean but no ocean view - the motel units had the best view. As we were getting our things organized in the cabin I noticed dark crumbs around the wastebasket & cabinet in the kitchenette area which I thought the cleaning staff had missed when cleaning the room. However, just before retiring to bed on our second night I discovered a mouse in the vanity under the sink which my husband & I fortunately caught using an empty wastebasket and bath towel. I covered it and set it outside overnight and first thing in the morning I took it to the office where the reception staff were very nonchalent about it. One of the cleaning staff dumped the basket outside - finding the mouse still clinging to the towel. Their only comment was "So cute". I didn't think it was cute at all and insisted that the basket be thoroughly cleaned before returning it to our cabin. Luckily, there were two beds in our cabin and we were able to put everything on the other bed or on the upper cabinets - nothing was left on the floor or under the bathroom vanity. The 'dark crumbs' were probably mouse droppings and were still there when we checked out - confirming that the floor was neither swept or vacuumed during our 6 night stay and the room was just barely 'surface-cleaned'. Having paid $915 for 6 nights is not cheap and I certainly didn't expect to share the cabin with a mouse. We were hiking in the area with a group of fellow hikers - most of whom were staying at Motel Beaurivage -and we didn't have much free time during the day to look for other accommodations, otherwise we would have moved after the second night. Not one word of apology was made when we checked out.

We spent 2 nights in this nice motel close to the main street of St. Anne
des Monts.
We had a very big room with 2 queen beds, big bathroom with double basin
(very useful!) And a nice view on the sea. Clean and pleasant interior.
Breakfast is not included but in the restaurant they serve a delicious
breakfast a la carte.
There is a computer with internet connection available for guests in the
lobby.
The only downside is that the walls are really thin and you can hear your
neightbours watching TV, talking or snoring.
Staff at the reception is somehow cold and not really friendly: they did
not make any effort to be kind and welcoming.
After all, I would definitely stay here again.

Very clean place. The rooms are somewhat small, but nice. The walls are thin and not soundproofed. The breakfast is good, but limited choice. However, for the price I would stay there again.

Everything was clean, comfortable and scenic. Restaurant served an absolutely BEAUTIFUL breakfast (forgot the camera darn it!). Only complaint was the the restaurant was not open for dinner during the high season.

I stayed in a chalet (80$ as opposed to $65 for a room) because it had a kitchenette and the restaurant wasn't yet open for the season.

I think it had just been updated, because everything looked and felt very new and clean... furniture, bed, paint!

It had a coffee maker, a fridge, a two ring stove, plates etc.

Being near the beach has its drawbacks.... you really do get the full effects of any wind!

All in all, quite a nice surprise for the money.

Room Tip: The chalets are probably worth the extra few buck.
