Overall, I would say I recommend. Frontdesk was courteous. Has laptop if you want to check your email or search the neighborhood.
Stayed there for one night. I used dupont bus tour to visit the old city. Which was a disappointment but had no courage to drive to the old city and walk with a kid. It was raining and all the windows had frost on them. So, nothing was visible. Funny thing was bus was stopped at plains of abraham and everyone got down. At the specified time, before moving the bus he counted everyone and said all are aboard and was ready to move; then, one of our fellow passengers came running to the bus.
The Falls and ile-de-orleans are very very very close from the hotel - really close. From the hotel, just take exit 325 which is few meters away and you have the Falls. Took the tram round-trip; great!! Walked upto the suspension bridge; a lifetime experience. Morethan the suspension bridege, I found the view point close to the Falls up there was a revelation. Except the fancy hotel with min price tag of 15$, there is no fastfood restaurent up there.
At the bottom of the falls also, there was a nice walkway which allows us to feel the Falls..
Ile-de-orleans is a picture card. Chocolate factory has a very nice cafe. Great food. We tried the truffles at the factory - though bit costly, they were yummy! Just drove along the ch royal circling the island and it was just great. I envy the people who live there. It is prestine!! You can leisurely drive along in about one hour.
All in all, quebec city rocks!!
