“Good place for lunch”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2013

Shipwreck Point Cafe sounded interesting so we stopped for lunch. We were taking the long way from Charlottetown to Wood Islands ferry that would take us to Nova Scotia.

It's a scenic spot and somewhat remote. However, the service was friendly and our fish chowder was very good. The other items on the menu that we tried was also very good.

“The fried claims are to die for”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2013

Coming from the northeastern part of the U.S., I feel like I know a thing or two about seafood. This place wins on fried clams. In fact, just order clams and more clams … and a cocktail … you don’t really need anything else! OK, the haddock was excellent too, but really ... those clams!!! If you are looking for fancy and romantic, this is not the place, but if you are looking for a good meal at a good price in a family run restaurant, put this one on your list of places to go. Oh, and there is a nice view too.

“Picturesque and good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

Set overlooking a small fishing harbour, the Shipwreck Point Cafe is lovely. I enjoyed my lobster roll, and my sister and I indulged in a piece of yummy pie. A gem of PEI.

“Great service! Nice adventure on the way back from Singing Sands!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2013

Regular food you would expect...great service and ambience! I determined I'm not big on fried clams but that is personal preference:)

“Great spot for lunch.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2013

This is a great little spot near the beach at Nufrage. The food is good - my partner enjoyed the burger. I had the lobster roll which was good. It is in a great spot, looking over the harbour. The service was very good.
