“First B&B experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2013

Brian & I can’t thank you enough for our first time staying at a B & B. The Graham Inn was truly a treat. The rooms were spotless, the beds were very comfortable. The saltwater pool was a nice way to relax at night just before bed. The best part of the B & B experience was the four course breakfast! There was sooooo much food that we were full until supper time. We stayed 5 nights and had a different breakfast every morning with homemade jams, biscuits, parfaits, eggs, sandwiches, and oooh the French toast – yum! There were homemade afternoon snacks and a lounge area where we could make a coffee, tea, water cooler, etc… Dolcie, Pam & Carole are the best hosts. They are very knowlegeable of the Island and suggest the best restaurants such as “The Pearl” an eclectic and delicious specialty. The weather was ideal for our three days of golf. We even shared some recipes and baking secrets that I will prepare for my family gatherings. Thank you so much for such a wonderful and relaxing holiday. Give Piper a big hug for us.

Carole,

What a pleasure it was to have you stay with us. Such great chats. Hope you have tried out all your 'baking' tips. We all look forward to you both coming back very soon.

My husband and I recently stayed at The Graham Inn on a short vacation for a few days in PEI. The accommodation is a bed and breakfast and run by two women who are both friendly and helpful in making your stay on the Island enjoyable. The Inn is set on an acre of land just outside of Cavendish in North Rustico in a very quiet and rural setting, but still close enough to drive into Cavendish less than 5 minutes down the road. It is a super quaint place, tastefully decorated and modern with a lounge area, as well as self-catering coffee/tea and homemade treats every day and plenty of games/movies/books etc... if you need something to occupy your time. This Inn also has a small, salt water indoor heated pool, which we did not use, but it looked very inviting and several other guests had enjoyed.

The rooms are beautifully decorated, but quite small. They do provide everything that you would need. There is no coffee or tea facilities in your room as they are available downstairs in the common area. We had a great sleep and although the room was tight, it worked for us for the few days that we were there. Breakfast in the morning was homemade and a different menu every morning. The food was absolutely delicious and you are provided with more than enough to get your day started out right before heading off for some site seeing. We really enjoyed our stay here. We love quaint little boutique-like B & B's and this place exactly provided that. There is also an amazing restaurant just down the street from the Inn called The Pearl. It is more on the expensive side and you must make a reservation, but the food was fabulous and most definitely recommended.

In terms of site seeing, Anne of Green Gables, Avonlea Village, Cavendish Beach, and the Rustico Area itself is all close by, with opportunities to even venture a little farther to see places like Dalvay by the sea. The Inn is in a great location and the service we received was fantastic. We would highly recommend this B & B if you are thinking of planning a trip to PEI.

Room Tip: I would choose the biggest room they have, as most of the rooms are quite small I gather.

Everything that I had read about the Graham Inn; the website, the reviews...all true!! I recently spent 4 nights there and I left asking if I could book my room for next year. Pam, Dolcie, Carole, and Amanda are great. From the moment I arrived I felt welcome and relaxed. Even Piper the dog is excited to see you when you arrive! Everything is nicely decorated in a tasteful, welcoming style, and kept very clean. My room and bathroom were a little on the "cozy" side size-wise, but really lovely. The breakfasts were amazing, with portions so generous I never had to get lunch! Pam and Dolcie checked in each morning during breakfast to see if I had plans for the day and were always ready with suggestions and mapped out routes for me if I didn't already have plans of my own. Taking a dip in the pool each day was wonderful. Definitely my new favourite place to stay on the Island. Seriously...can I live here?!

Room Tip: Rooms that face the back will be cooler and catch the breeze. You can also avoid the road noise, al...

We recently enjoyed four nights at the Graham Inn with our two kids (10 and 13 yrs) and would highly recommend this B&B to everyone. We stayed in the basement apartment and appreciated the extra space. The breakfasts were delicious and catered to everyone's tastes. The indoor pool was a real selling point for us and the kids took full advantage of it - it is surrounded by windows and has quick access to two patios so there was still an outdoor feel to it. The hosts were very gracious and accommodating and their accurate directions and recommendations were much appreciated. The location was a plus for us too; close to everything yet a bit away from the more touristy Cavendish bustle. Don't forget to check out the bakery treats in the afternoon - they go fast!

We had a wonderful week at The Graham Inn. Dolcie, Pam and Carole are so accommodating and wonderful hosts. The inn is beautifully decorated, spotless, and the rooms are quiet. The indoor saltwater pool is amazing. We had a lovely room with a king size bed. Comfortable chairs to read in would be a great addition. Pam's breakfasts are delicious. If there is a food item that you don't like or can't eat due to allergies she will work around it. The treat mid afternoon was always enjoyed. There is a well-stocked guest kitchen area with tea, coffee, water cooler and fridge to store items in. Plus there are books and board games to borrow. Dolcie was fabulous in giving us directions or suggestions for a day's activities. All in all our stay at The Graham Inn was relaxing and comfortable and we are looking forward to staying there again. We will be sure to recommend The Graham Inn to friends and family. Thank you for making our 40th anniversary wonderful!

I can't recommend the Graham Inn highly enough. Dolcie, Pam, and Carole made us feel right at home. We have three children, and our hosts went out of their way to get to know the kids, and they really seemed to take pleasure in having the kids as guests. The rooms are bright and clean, the meals are delicious and plentiful, and the atmosphere of the Graham Inn is relaxing and peaceful. Dolcie and Pam made terrific recommendations to help us get the most of our four days in Cavendish. Without any hesitation, I give the Graham Inn my very highest recommendation. If we are ever so lucky to go back to PEI, I would not even consider staying elsewhere.

Hosts, Pam and Dulcie, provided excellent advice on the area's attractions and restaurants. Pam's breakfasts were the best we had on PEI. Only negative: we had one of their larger rooms, and we still found it small, without comfortable chairs to sit in.

Thank you for staying with us during your recent visit to the Island and for taking the time to share your thoughts on our Inn. We were so pleased to read that our breakfast was the best on PEI. We are sorry that you found the chair in your room uncomfortable. We find that many of our guests enjoy reading and relaxing in our guest lounges which are furnished with a variety of different seating options. We do hope that you found one to your likening in one of our lounges.
