First experience with a B&B and it was excellent, Firedance will be our choice for any future visits to PEI, and highly recommend it to anyone. Food was excellent, room was clean, Erin and Evan very helpful, went the 'extra mile' to make sure our stay was thoroughly enjoyed, provided information from places to eat to places to visit, you can easily tell that they enjoy what they're doing and it made a difference in the quality of our stay. Will not hesitate to recommend it to anyone, and as previously stated, it will be where we stay when we get back up there. Grata, Hialeah, Fla.

Evan and Erin's beautiful property, comfortable rooms and gracious hospitality make guests feel like they've come home. We considered staying at a B&B in Charlottetown but we're glad that we chose the Firedance Inn instead -- the drive into the city is quick and more than made up for by the inn's quiet setting and incredible views of the West River. Evan's multi-course breakfasts are delicious and filling, and Erin has a knack for friendly conversation that doesn't ever seem intrusive or forced. The house is impeccably clean and well-maintained, the grounds carefully manicured, and the common area arranged so that you can have as much or as little interaction with other guests as you'd like.

We stayed in Room #3 for a week in the middle of September - many of the area attractions and restaurants had closed or were closing for the season, but there was still plenty to do and it was nice to avoid the summer crowds. We can't wait to return and we'd stay again at the Firedance in a heartbeat!

Firedance is all about peace, tranquility and hospitality. I loved it from the minute we drove up. Evan came right out to greet us with a big smile. We felt at home instantly. Not only are Evan and Erin the kindest people but they are so eager to make your stay the best it can possibly be. The breakfasts are so delicious and extremely filling. The Inn itself is beautiful and the rooms are so cozy and impeccably clean. I would never stay anywhere else. The view of the river is breath-taking, and the area is one of the nicest spots on the entire island. I hope to return one day and once again enjoy the loveliness of Firedance!

My wife and I fell in love with the Firedance. The location is incredible, with vistas of the Prince Edward Island countryside that soothe your spirits immediately. The hospitality of the owners, Evan and Erin McAskile is warm and charming, just like the decor at the Inn.

This "purpose-built" facility is laid out well, and inviting. Our room was large, comfortable and offered an ever-changing view of the red soils and green pastures of PEI, easing down to the river below.

Erin and Evan offered us excelent advise on restaurants and touring ideas during our stay. The breakfasts were soooo delicious and plentiful, and our conversations with the McAskile's added to the experience.

We stayed at several B&B's on this vacation, and the FIredance was at the top of the list.

This is a "must stay" for anyone wanting a 5 star facility in PEI.
