My wife and I stayed here in June 2011. We visited PEI (mostly) to see the Anne of Green Gables stuff.
Pros: The staff, location, and price were great. It's impossible to overstate the fantastic location - you can walk to the beach, Green Gables, LMM homesite, LMM grave, post office, etc. The breakfast - which is served at a "real" restaurant next door - was quite good.
Cons: We stayed at the inn. The condition is a little rough, as the building is older. While we were there we saw several refurbishment projects in the works. I think it will be nicer for peak season. Our room was a little small but we spent very little time there. Our room had a sloping floor and the wall outlet was wired to the ceiling light, so you had to watch TV with the "main" light on, but these were quirks that we quickly got used to.
We had a great time and would definitely stay again.
