Spent a restful two nights here. Spacious, clean room, welcoming hosts. Lovely home and surrounding gardens. Delicious breakfast. Host helped us book seating at our preferred restaurant, and also tickets for the Broadway show Hairspray in nearby Charlottetown.

My wife and I were extremely satisfied with our stay. Sharon prepared delicious breakfast with great presentation. Both Dave and Sharon greeted us at breakfast every morning. They helped guide us as we prepared our itinerary for the day and offered to make any reservations needed. We discussed differences and similarities with our cultures. Other guests visiting while we were there were also warm and friendly. The room was private, clean and cozy.

Spent four days at the Bonshaw B&B. It was beautiful. Met really nice people. The hosts Dave and Sharon and their other guests. Accomodations ate just so comfy and the bird feeders just hypnotized me. So many hummers. All the extra things Sharon does to make you feel at home, chocolate, peppermint foot cream and muffins to go! Loved it and would highly recommend a stay there. Jan & Bill Hulme

This B&B was top-notch. From the breakfast, to the furnishings (comfy bed), to all the wonderful details attended to by our hostess, Sharon; we couldn't have been more delighted! The house was welcoming, comfortable and elegant without being too stuffy or formal. Everything was just as portrayed on their website.

My mother and I spent a lovely weekend at the Bonshaw Breezes as part of a getaway weekend in Charlottetown.

Firstly - the property is lovely. We stayed in the Morning Glory Suite and the room is stunning. Perfect for a couple. It was also fine for us as a mother/daughter pair or for 2 that don't mind sharing a bed. The bathroom was my real slice of heaven. HUGE soaker tub that would fit 2 quite nicely, separate shower - his/her sinks. The softest towels you could ask for, and quality products to use.

What really made this B&B amazing was Sharon and David. From the moment we arrived we felt like we were visiting friends. Snacks and wine with great conversation, and they just make you feel like they wouldn't rather be anywhere else but right there with you. We opted for the lobster supper on our 1st night and it was incredible.
Breakfast each day was tasty and plentiful .. and again they kept the conversation flowing with the other guests and ourselves.

I think the best way to describe them is that they are just natural hosts. Great conversation, but when we were ready to hit the road they ensured we had a great map, beach chairs, and anything else we could need.

Certainly surpassed our expectations. Definitely a highlight of our vacation. Sharon & Dave seemed like old friends. Warm hospitality, fabulous accommodations. Wonderful gourmet breakfasts and table artistically decorated each morning in different coloured dishes and linens with fresh flowers and candles burning. It was so nice to learn about PEI through Sharon and Dave, and how they are so dedicated to the local businesses and agricultural. Breathtaking views atop their hill overlooking vast forests with muskoka chairs scattered throughout their property for sightseeing. Hummingbirds outside our windows every morning. It was hard to leave, but we certainly hope to revisit PEI and our new found friends.

Sharon and Dave know exactly what to do to make you feel like you're at home away from home. Their place was absolutely stunning, the view spectacular, and the food flawless, not to mention the friendly hosts! We felt like we had known them for years, like old family friends.

We were really impressed as well by their commitment to local products. Upon checking into our cottage, we discovered locally-made soaps, shampoos and creams in the bathroom, which made the trip back to Montreal with us!

The food was fabulous as well, with local eggs, bacon and sausage for breakfast along with fresh fruit from around. Sharon's cooking is easily restaurant-level, but with the comfort of dining in one's own home.

We had brought along our 2 dogs with us on our whirlwind trip (one large dog and one small), and Sharon and Dave were so accommodating. The dogs fully enjoyed their romps on the spacious grounds of the property, and were welcomed by Sharon and Dave with no hesitation. Our little guy liked keeping Sharon company as she tended to her gardens!

The care and time that Sharon and Dave put into their cooking, their home, and their gorgeous gardens was very evident, and made our stay feel like home...only better!

We look forward to coming back, hopefully before we return to live on the West Coast.

Sincerely,

Kirsta Thorleifson & Patrick Arseneault
