“O.K. mall, but most stores don't offer great deals”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2011

Vaughan Mills has almost all of the popular Canadian, US, and international chain stores, such as, Costa Blanca, the Gap, and Mexx. It only has one level, so it's convenient to get around, particularly for people with small children. We took the free shopping shuttle bus from Union Station in Downtown Toronto. I think it runs from May to late summer and offers a tax rebate for foreign tourists.
Now, the reason we went there was because we'd heard that it contained outlets of all the popular stores. Well, the prices are almost the same as downtown during clearance sales and a lot of the items were regularly priced. If you're used to outlet stores in the States where you can buy a designer shirt for $10-20, you won't find the same here. The best deals in the mall are:
Holt Renfrew outlet: still expensive, but a shirt that costs $800 downtown, is $200 here.
Reebok: these days it's hard to find their products at major sporting chains. Here, the prices are about the same as you would pay for their products at Walmart or Zellers. I bought running shoes for $45 and jogging shorts for $5. Also, great selection of summer outdoor footwear.

“Unique Mall”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2011

The store you must visit is Bass Pro Shop! It's fascinating! Every time I visit the family has a blast! There's a store for everyone! The food court is flashy and again, there's numerous choices for picky eaters. Don't forget to check out the go-karts! Time well spent!

“Love this place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 29, 2011

I went to Vaughn Mills twice. The first time I was there, we only had enough time to shop at a few shops. We only had 4 hours to spend there as we took the Vaughn Mills shuttle bus from Union Station. I went back to Vaughn Mills a couple of days later as I felt like I hadn't seen the whole mall.

Shops: H&M, Forever 21, Winners, La Senza, BeBe, Guess, and many smaller boutiqes. The deals at the La Senza outlet were great - the selection is very wide, and the discounts were pretty good.

Transport: The best way to get there is to drive, as parking is ample and you can go there in your own time and schedule. If you don't have access to a car, take the free Vaughn Mills shopping shuttle from Union Station. Details are on the website. I decided not to take public transport as it was too confusing for a tourist to undertake. The journey there spans across the TTC network and the GO network, which is the transport system in York.

“Shopping Day”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 4, 2011

Family and I headed to Vaughan Mills Shopping Centre. The mall was not too busy for a rainy day. It has a nice selection of shops to browse through.
Parking was not much of an issue, there is tons, and we lucked out and found one close to an entrance.
Went to Johnny Rockets for lunch. Avoid at all cost! Service was horrible, food even worse.
The burgers were so greasy. We will return to the mall but not to Johnny Rockets.
Lots of entertainment if you don't mind spending a fortune to do it. There is bowling, and a arcade type thing. Be prepared to spend about $30 or so per child for unlimited rides.
