Having been a member at the club years ago. It has come along way in the last 25 years. The course itself is kept immaculate. Hats off to the grounds keepers. Challangig dog legs a few elevated greens, narrow and wide fairways, some water. Not so forgiving rough and some tricky pin placements. It has it all. I played to "old 18" or the original 18. The 27 holes though does provides options for you to mix it up. Or for one to take a whole day and golf all 27 holes. Staff are friendly and helpful. The pro shop staff are accomodating to large groups, small tournament fundraisers to the larger fund raiser charity golf events. Or the 2 0r 3 foursomes looking for a deal. Green fees and cart prices are a good value. About $75 for individual. But dont be scared to ask if your a first timer for a visit, or are a return player from out of town. Food at the Club house was awesome. Halfway snack stop for always cold beverages and quick food. also awesome. The beverage cart regularly appeared and the girls friendly and pleasant to deal with. Prices for beverages and food are not overwhelming. For the Grey/Bruce area, courses in the area it rates 5 out of 5. There are other courses in the area that offer a fantastic view, but are categorically different in terms of expectation rating level 5. But as Golf courses go, Saugeen is parfect 5!!!
