“Tasty lunch fare”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013

My husband and I were looking for a place to have lunch on Monday when we were in Kingsville. i had remembered reading about Jack's on Trip Advisor, so we thought we would give it a try. I had the daily burger special (with a spicy cheese sauce), and my husband had the fish and chips. We both had sweet potato fries. Both meals were tasty and the portions generous. We sat out on the protected porch, which was very busy, along with the inside dining room. There is also a patio, and an additional dining room upstairs that they were not using. We enjoyed our outing, and would like to return.

“Well worth the wait”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2013

Delicious food, reasonably priced, in a comfortably casual atmosphere--it's easy to see why people (us included) were happy to sit in an Adirondack/Muskoka chair under the shade tree for 20 minutes to get a table. Big craft beer list and sharable desserts.

“quaint setting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2013

First time to this restaurant on a spectacular day, sunny, slight breeze. We opted for the outdoor patio under an umbrella to shade us from the sun. Service was quick and friendly. waitress took our drink order. this gave us a chance to view the white wooden fence and lovely colourfull flowers. the overall impression made you feel like you were in a different world, somewhere in a quiet country setting, even though you are in the heart of Kingsville.Food arrived quickly and was hot. Loved the presentation of the food and the whimsical way the hand cut fries were served in a clay pot (meant for flowers). There are a number if levels to dine from, either outside or the airconditioned inside. There is a rear upper patio that serves a barbque on fri/sat nights.Soft music in the background was inviting and not too loud, that one could not carry on with conversation with your company. We will definatly return to this restaurant in the future for dinner, lunch was very good and we are looking forward to returning for their dinner.

“our first visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2013

On Jul 13th., we celebrated my wife's (Lucy) birthday. We are extremely pleased that we decided to try your restaurant. The atmosphere was charming & comfortable, the service was professional and pleasant and the food.. Wow! What a delight! The amuse-bouche, the main course... were excellent and we sent our compliments to the chef. We would definitely recommend to others.. what a great experience. A South Ontario gem. In fact, we are already planning another family birthday there at the end of this month.
thank you,
Lucy & Gil Roy
