A double birthday was marked with a visit to this excellent restaurant. Some of us had chosen items from the online menu before coming. Let me emphasise that the food really is of the highest quality and the choices offered on the menu are to the same high standard. The waitress was attentive and cheerful, polite and efficient. The decor was perhaps a little formal, but this is in keeping with the standard of food on offer. The food was priced reasonably, considering the quality. A family party of six, we all were highly satisfied with our dining experience. The mussels were comparable with the best on offer anywhere. I have dined several times on Moules in London and these were just as good as those served in the best restaurants there. The Sea Bass was certainly the best we have tasted anywhere. The four star rating could certainly be improved if the management could offer all items shown on the menu, instead of cherry picking what most of us considered to be the three most desirable items off the starters and deserts. A French restaurant without Escargot to offer is a little wanting. The message is basically you provide fine food, please give us more of what we like the most! We will be back.
