“Lobster Seafood Pie”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2013

Received as a thank you gift, I just enjoyed a (large) piece of this pie and it was delicious. Do you sell at any other market such as the ?Seaport? market in Halifax. I'm a visitor from Ontario so not sure of the market name in the south end of town. Again, delicious.

“Masstown Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2013

It is always a pleasure to visit this special market, so conveniently placed off the main highway - easy access. I love to stop for fresh produce, and a meal. Their soups are to die for, as are the salads. They bake their bread and donuts right there and they have a slicing machine to slice it yourself. On my way home, I stopped for their famous Shephard's Pie, roasted chicken and a salad, to take home. I will return.

“Amazing homemade meals. Pricey.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2013

Just had lunch here... so delicious! Pricey, though; around $13 for the bowl of fabulous soup and fresh sandwich on perfect homemade bread.

Our soup and 1/2 sandwhich combo is only $6.95. Did you have a full sandwhich and perhaps a beverage? This with taxes might have brought the price up. Thank you for taking the time to comment. Our soups, salads and sandwhiches are made fresh daily.

“Good selection and Fish and Chips”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013 via mobile

Our first stop along our East Coast trip and found a busy little market with good selection of food and beverages.

Ate at the lighthouse and like a lot of other fish n' chips places in NS - had excellent food and value.

The flounder fingers were unique and the shrimp bountiful.

“The best place to stop along the highway! Local food to buy!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2013

Stopped at the Masstown Market on our way home to Sydney NS, it always a pleasure to stop! Lots of local produce this time of year at prices comparable or less the the grocery store! We also had a sandwich and soup at the restaurant and it was delightful and reasonable. A very busy attraction, best place to stop for food along this highway.
