We never fail to stop here. This is one of the finest markets in the province, offering a tasty cafeteria, wonderful produce (much of it local), an ice cream bar, washrooms, groceries, garden supplies, local crafts, and an adjacent local seafood market (tip -- try the Arctic Char, from the above-ground aquaculture operation at Advocate Harbour).
The market is always busy, a testament to its popularity.
My only complaint is the coffee - it used to be "JustUs", a local roaster, but is now Van Houtte, which is bland, and neither fair trade nor local.
But otherwise this is an essential stop.
