Having heard that the seafood chowder was decent..we were excited to try it this restaurant for the first time. I had the haddock...and my husband had a seafood casserole dish. OMG. I thought we were being "punked"....I couldn't look at my husband's dish...it was so unappetizing. Not a complainer, my husband bravely waded through the glob of "cornstarched to death" glob of white sauce that include a few pieces of seafood in it. He couldn't finish it. My haddock appeared, looking very grey and unappetizing...one bite..and it tasted like cold butter was poured over it. All I could taste was butter. Yuck. A starchy mess of brown rice was included on the plate...and some vegetables. The vegetables were ok...and that's what I had for dinner. The service was friendly, and the Sherman Hines pictures were lovely, but it was a first and last for us.
