This little spot is a short trek out of town, near the lighthouse. I think it's best feature is the fabulous view over the ocean. You can sit on the picnic tables overlooking the rocks and sea in the summer.
The food is almost all deep fried. The fish was OK - probably frozen. The mash potatoes were pretty terrible and the veg (while fresh and plentiful) were cold. One of our party got a milkshake - the old fashion type but it was tasteless. The chicken breast dinner was a plain breast dumped in fat and fried. Very dry.
Some of our menu selections were not available and the waitress didn't mention that until we were ordering. She also didn't mention that there was no Interact or credit card payments (their machine wasn't working) until we lined up at the cash register to pay. Luckily one of our party had cash!
