“Geocaching heaven.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2013 via mobile

We stopped in the park to hunt for geocaches. I hunted while my wife wrote overlooking the sea and taking in the aroma of salt air. There are a wide variety of caches available, including 3 earthcaches where you learn about the geology of the park. There are a number of trails, with caches, and plenty of mosquitoes. The trails are apt tobe wet so come prepared.

“A must-see”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2013

Totally blissful experience. I had the opportunity to travel here for work and I am so grateful that I did. The staff at the park were super friendly and welcoming and just overall fantastic. The park was beautiful. I was lucky because when I went there really weren't too many people around and I got to walk along the beach alone and it was beautiful. Really amazing spot and people.

“First camping experience for years - loved it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

We hadn't been camping for ages and after reading a helpful previous review here on Trip Advisor about how nice this park was for tent camping, we decided to try it out. It's a lovely spot, quiet, clean, and well kept. The beach is lovely for a long walk and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We were only there for 2 days and hope to get back later this summer. Sleeping to the sound of waves lapping the beach is simply blissful.

“HCPP: tent camper's destination”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2012

Herring Cove Provincial Park is a gem for tent camping. I have tent-camped four nights there for each of the past four summers and can't wait to get back there again. The sites are nicely wooded, quiet and within easy walking distance of good showers and toilets and a totally excellent mile-long cove along the Bay of Fundy. The park staff are friendly and helpful. There is a small grocery store about a mile away that is so well-stocked that you could show up at HCPP without a bit of food and still feast nicely. Campobello Island is a wonderful place to explore on foot, on bike or in a car - and ferries to New Brunswick are totally excellent for further exploration. I heartily recommend HCPP for camping and as a base for exploring the wonders of the Bay of Fundy and New Brunswick.
