You're unlikely to spend hours here, but it's definitely worth visiting if you're interested in Canadian literature, or even architecture for that matter. An interesting late 19th century home filled with period furniture and items related to the life of one of Canada's most important writers Margaret Laurence. Many interesting artifacts including Laurence's typewriter and the divining rod that inspired the book the Diviners. They have audio guides to accompany your tour and a small gift shop. Neepawa itself is an attractive town, especially near the river bank. While you're here check out the picturesque Riverside Cemetery nearby where Laurence is buried and the site of the famous Stone Angel.
