“The definition of relaxation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 11, 2009

Where to begin?! You look out your window and all you see are, ocean, birds, and sea lions splashing! If the sound of the waves and crickets don't rock you to sleep before 9pm, then you will witness a fleet of cruise ships silently slip by lighting up the darkened waters in a dazzling array of twinkle lights off in the distance. And the STARS!! How could I forget?! With my husband and two year old in tow, this proved to be one of the most relaxing holidays ever. The Sea Lion Suite proved absolutely perfect for the three of us with nothing amiss inside. The outside patio though out in the open felt comfortable and private. And the hosts?: Gracious, welcoming, discreet, informative and all around great people! WE WILL BE BACK!!!

“Truly Delicious Breakfasts”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2008

Owners, Mike and Patti, are the ideal people to run a bed and breakfast. The place is very clean. The location is great. The breakfasts were the best I've ever experienced, i.e. better than other b&b's, restaurants, and even my own. You won't be disappointed.

“A fantasic hideaway”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2008

My fiancee and our kids rented 2 of the three rooms for 2 nights. The owners were kind enough to let us have a small wedding on their back deck that overlooks the water. Our upstairs bedroom had a wrap around deck, and when the tide was in it seemed like we were nearly in the water. My daughter asked if the house was floating! Cruise ships slipped passed in the distance, and a seal occasionally played around out in the water. The house itself is down at the end of a quiet street. In the evenings we liked to sit out on the deck and just enjoy the water and the quiet. Our hosts made a huge and very tasty breakfasts each morning. My 6 year old daughter doesn't like food that touches so they made her a special fruit cup on our second morning. Our hosts were very nice, giving us directions and recommendations when we asked, leaving us to ourselves when we wanted. Of course, it was a special weekend because my wife and I got married, but we would recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone.

“A Time Well Spent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2008

April 4th, 2008

Being city people, regrettably it is easy to lose touch with what nature has to offer. At Cope’s B & B this wasn’t a problem. With blue sky above, golden sunshine around, wide vistas to see and natural scents to sense, we couldn’t ask for anything more on our two day stay. The location and lay out of this B & B was simply incredible! Our well appointed, private room was clean and comfortable ... its’ sun deck a mere 9 meters from the ocean! In the evening, with a fine glass of wine, it was a delight to sit there and take it all in. Mike and Patti the proprietors told us sometimes you can see killer whales pods going up the straight!
This B & B is suitable for couples or families with its’ adjoining rooms. And did we mention the nice proprietors? Patti’s breakfasts were terrific! Whether it is a romantic getaway or simply leaving the city behind, Cope’s B & B is a place that suits one’s needs. On our next visit we plan to explore the Comox Valley more and the many things it has to offer. In all, a time well spent.

“Most comfortable B&B ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2008

We've stayed in B&Bs throughout North America and Western Europe and Copes Islander rates #1 in comfort. The hosts are lovely people and I really felt that it mattered to them that I had a wonderful holiday.

The room was comfortable, breakfast was delicious and the view was nothing short of spectacular.

We will visit Comox again just to stay at Copes Islander B & B!
