“Fantastic Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2014

A brilliant way to spend the morning of Canada Day. Conditions were perfect - sunshine, smooth water and great views. We had porpoise bow wave riding soon after we left Telegraph Cove, then an enormous pod of 100's if not 1000's of dolphins before finally seeing 2 or 3 humpbacks. The crew and staff are very professional, and the boat is comfortable with plenty of room. To finish off we had a good lunch at the café in pretty Telegraph Cove and saw a juvenile black bear scavenging for remains from the fish cleaning in the marina. Good value for money

“AWESOME!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2014

Captain Wayne and his sidekick Kyle gave us some of their background and went over the safety precautions. They both were very welcoming and made us feel comfortable on the boat. it wasn't long before we started to see humpback whales and dolphins. We saw many humpbacks (one of which they couldn't identify), a few sea lions, and bald eagles. Kyle's presentation toward the end of the trip was well done and very informative. This was a great trip and we hope to go back later in the season and see some orcas. This trip will not disappoint!

Friendly, well organised. The skipper seemed to know just where to go. Missed out on killer whales, but plenty of humpbacks. Highly recommended

“Fantastic day with whales July 5, 2014”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2014

We had a wonderful whale watching tour. The weather was on the cooler side with threats of rain however we were all excited to get on the boat and see what was out there. Captain Wayne immediately advised that they had rain suits we could borrow so that we would stay warm & dry - a great plan!

We were lucky and saw lots of animals: humpbacks; porpoises; eagles at a bait ball eagles in a nest; and sea lions. The various viewing areas allowed for all of us to get photos and Captain Wayne made sure to point out sightings and to slow or stop in the area to wait for the whales to surface. The naturalist on board was passionate about the wildlife that we saw and made sure to explain which whales we were seeing; their usual behaviours; how bait balls were formed and any questions she was asked.

This is our second time with Stubbs and we will be back again!
