We are frequent visitors to Sun Peaks and typically stay at a week per visit (5-6 times per year). Masa is located in the day lodge so it is a place we think where we want to eat and drink as it is convenient to lifts. We have young kids and they often like to stay and extra few minutes on the lower lifts so we think we can get an early stanrt - wrong. From the differnet places we have eaten at, only at Masa have we constantly had trouble getting service. Either it is because the place is so empty they want to spread the clientelle out so "servers get even opportunities" or it is because singles and couple cannot sit in the few windows they have facing the lifts. There have been a long list of other issues, including food quality. Luckily as soon as this track of poor customer relations starts I remember there are many options new by so we simply leave. My suggestion to any one thinking Masa is a great place is to think again. Do yourself a favour and try the others -- if you do go to Masa you will know what poor service your missing and if you take the shorter route to better service just know you made the right choice. Masa has way too many rules to enjoy yourself. Cheers.
