We read DPezz's review from 2012/09/23 before deciding to go here. They were spot on!
The food and service were good and the staff nicely engaged (which can be a challenge in a ski town). There is a good selection on the menu (the stroganoff was outstanding!) - chicken, fish, steaks, pork and even pastas for the vegetarians among us. Salads were a fine starter as well.
One evening, (yes we went there more than once) I had the seafood Kartoffelauflauf, which was tasty but way to heavy on the salt. One in our party complained the Schnitzel wasn't seasoned enough, but was otherwise well prepared and generous of portion. That said, everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals.
The wine list is modest, but has a nice selection of international wines with some very respectable BC options, which we tried and were not disappointed.
Decent ambiance, with live music on Friday nights
