Had a craving for a nice steak and went here, unfortunately... Upon entering I waited for about 5 minutes before the hostess came to greet me - only 2 other tables with customers at the time. I was told to find a seat quite sarcastically as if I should have known the local ritual or something. I chose one and had to move to another because the table was sticky as if it was wiped in soda. Had to move to yet another as there was ketchup all over the bench seat and only discovered that fact after I sat in it! Well, finally I got my order. A very nicely presented plate which got me drooling. Cut into the steak to discover it was definately blue-rare rather than the med-rare I ordered. Not sure if it was the steak that was tough or just the ice still in the centre of it. Finally the hostess came back and I showed her my problem. She was quick to take it back to the kitchen and promptly brough me back the plate minus the steak. I was told to eat the vegtables before they get cold! I asked if I could have the plate back when the steak was ready so she returned it to the kitchen. Another 17 minutes later the same plate came back: cold vegtables (I guess she did advise me) and my steak, bone dry and almost needing a hack saw to cut it. By this time I was really hungry and gave in to the fact that this was as good as its going to get and attacked the plate. About half way through the remains of the meal i felt my bench back beiing bumped quite hard. I thought some other customers came in but as something caught my eye I turned and looked and to my amazement and shock some little old lady was walking in the window sills dusting the blinds! As the dust began floating down I took my que and left.
