Nice dairy farm, with some exotic birds as well as other animals. The Ice Cream was AMAZING !!
The cheese is also excellent.

“Ice cream break stop.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2013

Dutchman dairy is visible from # 1 highway main stop is a place to have ice cream with a pick of about 20 flavours ,purchase the locally made cheese, milk and other dairy products. a place that has been visited by a lot of tourists from all over and they ask you if you have stopped for a cone which I may add is of very good quality, rich and creamy also across the road is a fruit and vegetable stand selling fruits and vegetables from the local orchards from the southern valley.

“Great Family Stop-Over”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2013

I am lucky enough to live just 40 minutes from this haven! There's no chance I will ever drive past without stopping here. I went a lot as a kid with my family and it is nice to still be able to pop in and see the friendly staff and the animals. They also have very good cheese curds! I always grab a Tiger Tiger cone and some cheese curds - makes for the best poutine!

“A Family Tradition”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 11, 2013

Whenever we use Hwy 1 to travel between BC and AB our family stops here for ice cream and a stroll around the animal pens. Fruit stand across the street is also a draw. Always a treat.

“Yum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2013

OK - there is good and then there is the stuff you'd drive an extra hour to get to. D Dutchman icecream is worth a couple of hour's extra driving. Kids can wander through a small zoo, look at baby cows but everyone wants to go line up for the ice cream. Watch out for tour buses because its so good that they stop for ice cream (and there are large lineups when a bus is in). Higher end pricing but worth it.
