“Breathtaking view, Hospitality and Wild life…everything’s here!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2011

Having been to several B&Bs, my husband and I both strongly agreed this is the best we’ve ever experienced. Don & Angie are the coolest hosts and they made our sixth wedding anniversary amazing.

We stayed for two nights in early September and chose the Driftwood suite, which had a living room with a great view of Sechelt inlet.
A two-course breakfast was delivered to our suite every morning: Fruit bowl, OJ and Coffee to start, then a hot main dish, which was Waffles, eggs and sausage the first day. While taking breakfast on our private patio over looking the inlet, we saw a group of seals (5 of them) swimming around! We saw them both mornings.

On the second morning, when we were devouring Don’s Denver omelets with hash, a mother & baby deer came to eat Don & Angie’s flowers then headed off to the beach. We grabbed a video camera and captured the deer going into the water, eating seaweed and chasing a goose.

I loved soaking in their hot tub so much, all I could see was Sechelt inlet and the beautiful mountains. After a while, I turned the whirlpool switch off and enjoyed reading a book to the sound of the ocean and crickets.

Nighttime, the fireplace kept us warm. We watched movies and our favorite programs on satellite TV with a glass of wine and some Brie. All the linens and towels smelled like fresh flowers.

We could write more about how much we had a great time at the Beachcomber. They have a cottage in the garden which even closer to the water. We absolutely loved the Driftwood suite, so it’ll be hard to choose which room we are going to stay at for the next visit!

My husband and I have been going here for about 4 years. The owners are very friendly and the cottage is immaculate. The surroundings are so quiet and peaceful and the view is incredible! We love Don's breakfasts and will continue to go back year after year. It's our favourite getaway!

I stayed in June. The suite was very clean and the view was amazing. We enjoyed the area, especially if you want peace and quiet, and to enjoy nature. The grounds were well kept and it had a feeling of seclusion. It is very relaxing and breakfast wad very good.
