“The Perfect Getaway”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2013

My boyfriend and I recently spent a night at this delightful B&B before heading to Rock Water Secret Cove for a wedding. Our stay was perfect and when we moved on to our second destination I found myself missing the beauty and peace that Paul and Marie's B & B provides. The grounds are immaculate and the rooms are perfectly spacious and comfortable. We walked just a few minutes through the trees to a nearly private beach which was stunning and exactly what we needed. Their home is located on a very quiet street but is also conveniently located so that it's just a quick drive into town. We had lunch on the spacious waterfront patio at the Lighthouse Pub in Porpoise Bay and it was delicious! We watched a few movies on the movie channels in our room and slept like babies in our king sized bed. For breakfast Rosemarie prepared the best fruit salad, yogurt and home made granola, a mushroom and cheese omelette with toast and english muffins and, of course, oj and coffee. What a great way to wake up! Oh and I forgot to mention that the rooms are separate from the main house (which we didn't know), and we really appreciated the peace and the privacy of this. We had a wonderful time and will definitely return. I highly recommend this B&B for the perfect getaway.

If you're looking for a special spot on the Sunshine Coast, you will enjoy the hospitality of Paul and Rosemarie. Our second visit was like coming home -- it's a warm and welcoming place. The Garden Room is a sweet corner room with garden views and a king bed. Breakfast was wonderful and they are very accommodating. Just steps from their house, there is a little public trail that goes down to the beach...a delightful little walk for fresh air and a beach walk. We hope to return again!

Room Tip: If you're looking for a special spot, the Garden Room has a nice king bed with garden views.

The whole family enjoyed our stay with Rosemarie and Paul at their guesthouse. We have two babies and were very well accommodated and made to feel welcome. The room was lovely and the setting was very quiet. The breakfast was very tasty too might I add. We also found Rosemarie and Paul to be helpful in suggesting nearby places to dine and find activities. Wish we could have stayed longer really! We had a great time and will be staying with them again.

We stayed two nights and enjoyed our time. Everything was well looked after and in good taste.
Comfort and luxury seems to be the idea behind this perfect place where Paul and Rosemarie enjoy hosting people and providing excellent breakfast and good hosting all in all.

Room Tip: both rooms are great

We stayed here for our second time in early August, and the experience was wonderful. Paul and Rosemarie are great hosts and the breakfasts are memorable. We had the Pool Room with the king size bed overlooking the swimming pool, and both the view and the room were incredible. Unfortunately we were too early for the fig tree to be ripe but perhaps next time. I would strongly recommend Rosemarie's to anyone who wants both a great stay and great food.

We just found the place so relaxing and so quiet! We had our own little table outside our room where we could enjoy a glass of wine and a snack. The pool area was another place we sat and enjoyed looking at all the flowers that Rosemarie grows.
Our room was perfect: clean, comfortable, had everything we needed and most important, had a very comfortable bed!
Not only was breakfast delicious but also the portion size was very generous!
We have stayed at many B & B's over the years and Paul & Rosemarie's is definitely one of the best ones ever!

Amazing food. Hosts were very nice. Great time. This place is ideally located. It is close enough to the shore that you can walk to the beach, but due to the fact that it is in a heavily wooded area with plenty of natural trails, you get a sense of privacy while there
