“I wouldn't book a terrorist into this DUMP!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2012

it's a musty dump!!! I arrived with my son's hockey team and the heat was turned off in room. Being close to the ocean, the room was musty and cold. Then there was no HOT water.....only cold or luke warm. When I questioned the front staff, she said all the guests complain about no hot water. She also said the owner is sooooo CHEAP that he won't turn up the temp on the boiler cause he wants to save $$$ . Cold rooms and no hot water means the mold will grow there sooner than later. Thanks for nother ya cheap S.O.B. !!!!!
I had to sleep in my clothes cause the floor and bed were disgusting. I'd rather sleep in the bush inside my tent.

It was a bit dated....but the location was ideal - with lovely views across the beach. A few nice places to eat in this part of Sechelt, but its not in the main town - we had two nights here. It was clean, and the staff were excellent, but it could definately do with a reno...the carpets and furniture were very '80's.

Room Tip: I think all the rooms would be the same....we were lucky that our was on the ground flooor and we ha...

We stayed in a one bedroom with kitchenette for four days while attending the Sunshine Coast Festival of the Written Word. There is a pier across the street and a great path along the shore. Though it is an older style motel, we were satisfied with everything except that our room did not have wifi (we were at the far end of the motel). The manager compensated us for the inconvenience. The restaurant on site, Sirens, served excellent food and had good service. We would go back to the Bella Beach Inn again.

Room Tip: Second floor rooms have a great view of the sunset over the strait.

Unless you are desperate do not stay at this Motel. They call themselves an Inn but it has to be the worst Motel we have ever stayed at. Hot out, no air conditioning or even fans. Bathroom had no hand soap or bath soap. We'll never stay there again.

Place was marginally clean at best. They haven't cleaned their windows in awhile which is too bad as the room had a fantastic view of Davis Bay.

Where to begin, free wi fi advertised could only get it on deck of restaurant or across the street on park bench. A lot of small things, shower leaking, circuits of plugs not working, no windows, no screens on patio doors. Rooms stuffy, staff very helpful but they have no support from the owner. He needs to spend money on the hotel, he already has a new BMW.
The restaurant was good for breakfast, we didn't eat any other meals. Compared to the hotel next door this one is better. The owner needs to spend some cash if he wants have repeat customers

This place had the best views. However the furniture reminded me of my college res days. The flooring and furnature looked like it hadnt been replace since 1970. The staff was very nice. Luckily we only stayed there for the one night because I couldnt have lasted any longer. for the price of $110 it was the cheapest around the sunshine coast. With some paint and some new furniture combined with the views this place could potentally be the best spot on the coast.

While inexpensive, this place is literally falling apart. Should have known better when while walking up the stairs to the room, I noticed ant traps everywhere. Ants all over the place. Plus the bathroom was showing signs of serious maintenance being required. The tub was falling away from the surround by about an inch with exposed screws easily visible. The place did seem reasonably clean however. Beware the 72 hours cancellation notice that they try to get you with if you decide you are not staying there. Make sure you get your money back by mentioning that that little tidbit wasn't disclosed anywhere on the paperwork, on their website, and wasn't mentioned on the phone when booking.

Room Tip: Don't stay here. Serious ant infestation.
