Owner description: The massive mountain rises 4000 vertical ft and covers 3000 acres of terrain suitable for all abilities. Intermediates carve the famed fall-line groomed runs while advanced skiers revel in the steeps of Taynton Bowl. The summit’s 8000 ft elevation, just below tree-line, provides breathtaking views and stands tall over this convenient ski-in/ski-out village and the nearby quaint town of Invermere. After an exhilarating day on the slopes guests rejuvenate in Canada’s largest slopeside hot-pools. The resort’s relaxed character and abundance of onsite activities including heliskiing, Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and tubing make it a favourite for destination skiers. This is Panorama Mountain Village.

“Ski Trip to Panorama Mountain Village”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2013

Our ski trips are often late bookings - a consequence of work pressures - and organization can be a nightmare. We cannot praise the Pano Reservations Team highly enough for their organization assistance. From organizing our transfers from/to Calgary Airport, sorting out our ski package, and going the extra mile to find us the perfect accommodation, the Reservations Team were amazing.
We stayed at the Pine Inn, a two minute walk to the lifts. This was the least expensive accommodation on the hill but we did not feel like we were missing out in terms of comfort or service.
There are no bad ski resorts when there is plenty of snow. What marks out a great resort is how they manage those periods when the conditions are not as good. The Pano Grooming Team produced great skiing on those runs which had held their snow cover and good skiing on slopes that needed careful management. They were not afraid to signpost runs where conditions were marginal. We skied some marginal runs - but knew when we set out that some caution was required.
We would rate Panorama above some larger resorts (Revelstoke, Sunshine Village) for the quality and variety of the skiing, and on a par with Lake Louise for customer service and friendliness.
There was a good choice of restaurants for evening meals and the Main Hall was a convenient and reasonably priced choice for lunch.
We will be returning to Pano, and aim to persuade our friends to give the resort a try. We don't think they will be disappointed.

“HorseThief Lodge”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2013

The timeshare is very busy during snow season not so much during spring and summer. We just got back and did have a good time. It is beautiful scenery, the unit was well equipped with everything you need for the week. They did have a general store and liquor store which was well stocked and not very pricey. We also wen't on a fishing trip with Reel Axe Adventures with Kris phone # 250-688-5626 and had a great time and caught rainbow trout which was nice.

“There is Better out there”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 25, 2013

Pano can be a fun mountain when there is lots of snow. Unfortunatly, Kicking horse, Louise and Revelstoke all are better hills when the snow is good.

“A fantastic destination.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

We are not great skiiers, but found plenty to keep us as occupied as we wanted. We had ski lessons, went snowshoeing, found the snowmobiling (just down the road), ate heaps, enjoyed the hot tubs, had a scenic helicopter flight, rested and relaxed. The staff are great, the views fantastic. Stayed at Horsethief and 1000 peaks summit over 10 days ( we extended our booking and took a different unit). Heaps of families were there. Our (adult) daughter loves the runs for snowboarding. Its a long trip for us but we are looking at returning for a summer stay for a new range of activities.

Wow! Pano is some hill. the tough terrain is technical but full of snow. Great for all levels of skiing. Oh, and no lift lines. Stayed at the Wayward Ventures Chalet. It was awesome.
