We have just returned from 5 weeks in Western Canada, staying in a wide variety of accommodation; we voted this our favourite. The cabins are a bit 'worn' but that just adds to their character! Superb location - there are hikes right from the door. Excellent food in the very homely restaurant (they've not got a liquor licence but are happy for you to BYO)

“Smell The Mountain Air!!”

WOW!

The mountains are huge in the backdrop, and there is a river behind with walls of rock. This amazing place is the only service from Banff to Radium Hot Springs on highway 93 and offers a store, 10 cabins, a dining room, and an info centre.

Everything is rustic decor and the cabins are log. This place is in the middle of nowhere which makes it so nice. Also it is beside the Vermillion river.

The smell here is amazing. The BC rockies have the most amazing smell. The smell of alpine, and freshness is very strongly in the air.

You should never miss this place when travelling between Radium & Banff.
