“Relaxing visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2013

Our first visit to this hot springs,we had a confortable very clean room
with a lake view and a very professional staff. The pools are relaxing
with the added benefit of the extra hot cave of this we made good use
on our 2 days stay. The resturant and room rates are very reasonable.
When in the area, we will return.

“Relax and enjoy!!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 16, 2012

This hot springs experience is a must do if you are in the Nelson B.C. area and want to relax and soak up the gorgous view, and have a place to stay and a place to eat all ay the same place. The rates are reasonable and the staff were very professional. Watching the snow fall when you're in the pools at night is something you won't forget.

“Wow”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2012

The caves were exciting. They were also hot compared to the main pool. It was just at body temp but you could stay in longer. If you were cooling down you just make your way in to caves were the temp is warmer. They also provide a cool pool if you get over heated. The only problem I had was no locker to store your stuff in. When you arive they provide you with a bag to put your belongings in and they give you a number to clip on to your suit. If you leave your valuables elsewhere, it works.
The showers were amazing and private and also a private dressing area for the more bashful.
It was fairly quiet in the fall. Best time for a visit for sure. Ainsworth is open all year.
Most expensive of all the hotsprings I have travelled to.

“loved the caves”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2012

The hotel room and view of the lake was amazing. The room was comfortable and clean. The hotsprings were very nice relaxing, except for how loud the people were which obviously isnt the hotels fault, but I wish they would put up a sign to remind people to keep their voices down, even in the caves the talking was quite loud. It makes it hard to just relax and enjoy the experience when people are so loud. We ate breakfast in the restaurant, the view was was awesome I recommend it, the food was great and good value for the money. All in all a very nice birthday weekend.

“Amazing Caves”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012

I love going in the caves of hot springs, it is a completely different experience than being in the pools. I have to say Ainsworth is one of the most enjoyable, relaxing and spiritual place. The caves are not man made and the spring inside the caves is very warm. You should not stay very long in the caves about 15mins but you can go into them as much as you would like. There is also a resting place that is just outside of the caves that is the same temperature as inside the caves. There is also another pool there that is not as warm as the caves and then there is the ice cold dipping pool. i recommend taking the icy plunge and then going in the caves, it is a wonderful feeling! I go here as often as I can as I come out feeling like a new person.
